St. Paul Children's Ministry

The Children's Ministry of St. Paul United Methodist Church serves as an opportunity for children to build a foundation of faith and be a part of a church family. Our events and activities provide a time and place for children to learn Biblical values that will stay with them as they grow. The Children's Ministry serves infants through fifth grade.

Our goals for the Children's Ministry include:

- To establish a solid, spiritual foundation in the children of SPUMC
- To include a time for praise and worship which will enrich the learning and growth of each                 child
- To incorporate technology and media into the teaching and learning of Bible stories, lessons,         and concepts
- To encourage church family participation through the need of donations, volunteers,                         fundraisers, etc.
- To provide the congregation with opportunities to witness the growth of the children

Nursery Care is provided by Mrs. Valicia Eger and Mrs. Katelyn Shaffer during all three worship services. They staff our nursery every Sunday to provide quality, loving care to the little ones of our church. The nursery is open to children ages 0-3 during the 8:15 & 11:00 worship services and 0-2 years at 9:45am. The nursery is located on the lower level of the church. *We are in the process of relocating the nursery to the main floor. This new location will be available on November 1st.

This year, the Children's Ministry is supporting the mission of the Samaritan's Purse. More specifically, we will be raising funds to support people around the world who are aided through the Animals & Agriculture aspect of Samaritan's Purse. From September - Vacation Bible School 2016, we will be collecting money and making purchases of animals which will be given to people in need. These people will also hear about the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the workers of the Samaritan's Purse.
