Financial Help

St. Paul United Methodist Church welcomes you to Chambersburg Community. We are a small town in Pennsylvania, nestled between the Susquehanna and Juniata rivers, with just under 3,000 people.

We love our community and want to ensure everyone can access the resources they need to thrive. That's why we've started this blog: to share information about financial help for Chambersburg Community residents.

We know that sometimes life can be difficult, and it's easy to feel like there's nothing you can do about it—but there is! There are many different loan programs at St. Paul United Methodist Church that assist with various needs, such as:

  • Food and housing, transportation assistance, utility assistance, medical expenses, prescription medications (including insulin);
  • education expenses, including textbooks, tutoring services for children who qualify based on parental income level or educational needs (for example, English language learners), child care subsidies during school hours or work hours if necessary due to work schedule requirements (for example, shift workers);
  • emergency assistance such as eviction prevention funds for rent/mortgage payments only.

St. Paul United Methodist Church is a welcoming, open community of faith. We believe everyone is welcome here, regardless of your background or where you come from. Our doors are open to everyone, and we look forward to meeting you!

Come worship at 101 W. Main St., Chambersburg, PA 17201, on Sundays at 10:30 AM.
